SCIENCE CONCEPT:
- Making accurate measurements requires finding the right technique. Human
reaction time limits the accuracy of our responses.
STUDENT OBJECTIVE:
- The student will make measurements of the flight of a tennis ball.
They will measure their own reaction time and consider
it in relation to making measurements, and playing tennis.
OVERVIEW:
- The student will analyze videotaped footage to
determine the time of flight of a tennis ball. The class will also engage
in a group activity to make an accurate measurement of reaction time.
