| Community of Clocks
Project Description:
Participating classes researched a clock in their communities. The clocks were at a
school, university, library, church, etc. Each class submitted a photograph of the
clock and provided information about the clock and community. Photographs were sent by
e-mail or to the coordinator for scanning. Participants included a language arts
activity that related to the clock. This project is part of a resource developed by the Franklin Institute Online Fellows.
Objectives:
To develop research and literacy skills
Learn about different communities
Become producers as well as consumers of information on the World Wide Web Provide a
vehicle that offers integrated learning experiences
Use the Internet for online collaboration
