Scorecards come in many varieties. There is no correct scorecard, but there are a few different styles.

Basically there are box-style and diamond-style scorecards. We are partial to the diamond-style scorecards as it provides a picture to chart the progress of the player.

Scorecards may have boxes to track the pitches, a box to record the batter's uniform number, circles to log outs, etc.
