The Online
Museum Educators program was developed to provide important
educational perspectives for the collections-based resource
initiatives at The Franklin Institute and the Science Museum,
London. The premise is that the end user is likely to be the
key interpreter in the online museum exhibition process. With
this goal in mind, the piece "Steam Powered Coining Press"
has been designed as a starting point in the introduction
of meaningful learning activities and concepts. The "For
Teachers" section is a collection of suggested curriculum
resources that complement the piece.
