rdo's photoRobert teaches 4th grade in Vineland, New Jersey at the Marie D. Durand School. His classroom web site began as an activity he planned to complete his PIP (personal improvement plan) during 1996. The goal was to expose his class to the Internet as a meaningful tool.

room 14-A logoRobert's fourth grade classroom is host of the Flat Stanley Project, an online e-mail and photograph exchange that finds his students corresponding with friends on the seven continents. The project, now in its fourth year, has been reviewed in USA Today, Family PC, and the book Internet Family Fun. There is plenty to do when visiting room 14-A, so feel free to explore.

In addition, Robert has designed several other web sites for various organizations and individuals. When not teaching or on the Internet, he spends his time reading the New Yorker, listening to the Grateful Dead, watching DeNiro and Pacino movies and most of all, playing with ’Nado, his three-and-a-half-year-old kitty who regularly types while he’s online.
