Informal conferences can be held for planning and touching base with colleagues. During October, 1998, several of the Franklin Fellows met on-line with some of the Franklin staff to test their QuickCam cameras and connections. For several of the Fellows this was the first time they had used the new White Pines version of the CU-SeeMe software. One topic of the discussion was to discuss how we can begin to interact with each other on-line to facilitate the projects we are all working on.
