Levering School
|
July, 1997 We went on a City Walk and began to investigate our school grounds and surrounding neighborhood. These snapshots captured the scene. We began to plan classroom projects and activities for the school year. We also recorded the walk on video. In this QuickTime movie, we consider where bees make their habitat in the city.
Scientists in Roxborough

Back to School, 1997 Once we got back to school, we all began to try some "science in the city" with our students. Several classes are investigating trees and leaves. The fifth and seventh grades went on a naturewalk at a nearby nature center. Even the math and social studies classes are working on the theme. We're capturing our "science in the city" as it happens on the pages in this scrapbook. |
